Hi welcome all to the new BFT. I fished Aberdeen, at AF res. on Wednesday.  Still over 1 foot of clear ice. You need ice cleats. Fishing was slow for small pearch. I never seen anything else caught. I am going to try by the dam on Monday for some trout. Maybe small mouth.

Ice is great. A foot at least. It won't last long now. I left after 3 hours of no bites because I wanted to try for some small mouth at Seagull Bay. But that area is closed in the winter. I have a new (used ) boat I want to get on the water. A 2013 Lowe with a 40 hr. Merc. And front trolling motor.

I heard there is around 10 feet of open water by the dam.

No the docks aren't in yet. No ice in site.
At least not at the dam. I didn't get down to Sportsman.
