Took the kids to UL for some white bass on the boat. They caught 30-40 in an hour between 10 and 11 out of AF harbor. My wife took a few casts and ended up with a good sized walleye we released at the boat. My son latched on to a catfish later near the State Park that looked to be a good size when it rolled and spit the hook.
We did best on a gitzit 1/8th jig in chart green. When the tail got eaten off, we put on a chart green/white curly tail and it still got pounded. I think the little stick on eyes on the gitzits were making him particularly successful for the whities.
