Not too many ice guys out on Rockport Saturday. Did everyone run to the races in Vegas? [cool]
Fishing was great! We went out and cut holes over water in the 45 to 50 foot range, and saw perch immediately. And often! It was hot until after 1:00, with enough rainbows coming through to keep it interesting. Glow in the dark jigs seemed best, and probably so because of the silty look to the water down low. Chubbyfish had an Aqua-Vu with him, and even with the light on you could see next to nothing on the bottom. But action was fast for perch averaging 10" where we were. We were wondering if the run-off that's coming in now is adding to the bottom being stirred up - ???

]hey uinta ice thanks for the great report and i sure wished that i could have gotten on the ice at rockport and echo a few more times this year but i guess i will have to wait for the ice to break and then i will get back out there. trfishin
