Ice Sled?
#1
So Fish-R-Mann says, "Let's go the Berry on Saturday. We won't need the hut because the weather is so nice. We can take the hand auger and carry our lunch in our pockets. Traveling light is a good thing"

Red Green said recently that a sure sign of age is using "comfort" to make your decisions. Pack all my gear on my back? Leave my power auger and fish finder behind? Not to mention a couple of brewskies... I decided to get an ice sled instead. (guess I'm officially an old fart!) The bad news is Sportsman's is OUT. The sales person said he could of sold six today, but they are on back order and will not be in again this season. I tried Wallyworld and the sales person laughed saying they'd been out for a while.

So.....does anybody know where a small gear sled can be had in the Salt Lake area?

Thanks in advance for any leads.

If you're looking for just a sled and not an "ice sled" I got just one of those 6'kids sleds from Garts in Murray a couple of years ago at about this same time. It's not the best, but it was only about $5. Just a thought.

if you are interested i have two small shelter sleds for sale. they are the small jet sled style with a black pullover shelter and a small window in the front. there perfect for one mans gear and the pull over options nice for when the wind kicks up. i bought these at a auction there brand new and have never been used. i seen simualr tent online for 150$ but ill let these go for 50 bucks each.
i think the small jet sled is 20 bucks alone so this is a good deal. if anyones interested email me at jimmyjunzz@msn.com

Hey, official Old Fart, try Big 5. The one in Layton had some larger "toboggan" style play sleds for $15 minus 30% on sale. They looked pretty adequate for me and with a couple bungees should do well.
