strawberry report....3/9/04

hit strawberry with fishcrazy today fished out from the marina from 9-3 PM drilled holes in 57' of water started getting bites as soon as i hit bottom and reeled up about 3' missed 6 fish in 20 min. started showing fish sbout 40' so we started fishing there i ended up with only 3 fish today but missed another 15 easy mike ended up with 7 missed about 10 himself

nice day out fished in a t-shirt for a while never put a jacket on no slush to speak of caught fish on 1" white tubes also green mike got his fish on a 2" white tube tipped all with a peice of crawler

looks as if the fish are deeper now. huh. i hit the berry as well. my bud landed a nice rainbow by the way. check out my post for details.

Aquaman- Sorry we missed you today. I forgot my radio so couldn't say whats up. Not a very good fishing day but a beautiful day on the hard water. Sounds like the fish are moving deep. Maybe the lake turned over.

jr8fish-We were marking fish from 25-53 feet,so some of them were not so deep

we got some fish out of the slot !!!!! to bad it was on the lower side LOL i would say the biggest was about 19" no rainbows
