Has anyone seen or fished Gunlock recently, or know when it gets good.

I haven't fished it recently but I'd like to - I suspect the largemouth are starting there now. You have to work for them but there are some nice fish in it. Also some large cats, but it is still early for them. Water level is way low.

I fished it two weeks ago and nobody got a bite. I'd give it about another 2 weeks if the weather stays warm.

The water being low is a understatement. It looked to be 30 ft or more low. All the big coves on the east side don't have any water.
