Are they in post spawn yet? Moved out to the deep water?

Sorry but are you talking about crappie or bass being post spawn?

Hopefully someone that lives down there or has more experience with bass can answer your question but I did not think bass spawned this early Undecided

Not certain down there, but I'd guess post spawn given that bass in many places up in northern and NE Utah are in spawn mode currently. A friend who fished a different lake near St. George last week mentioned catching spawned out bass.

We've been out there a few times a week for the last month and are finding bass everywhere right now. Water temps are in the mid 60's, which means there are fish in both spawn and post-spawn stages. Pick your poison and you can't go wrong. You do have to go either during the week, or go at 6am and be off by 10am on the weekends when the power squadrons are rolling in...it gets to be a zoo out there.

Happy to report VERY good fishing.

Ned rig did all the damage, couldn't get any takers on the texas rig, but the fishing was very, very good.

Glad to hear it...hard not to do well at SH any time of the year! The place is a LM factory! Fish are all going to be post spawn now, and then it gets REALLY good...just have to weed through all the 1-2 pounders to find the big girls! I like to go out in the evening when the ladies come out to play  more...super fun!

Wow, that's a lot lower than I thought, for some reason I thought it was around 70.

Yeah...the males actually start moving up and making nests around 55 degrees. Then the females show up around 60 to do their thing. Blue Gills spawn more around 70. We are in full post-spawn mode now down here at SH...and the fishing is HOT!!!
