on the ice at 9:00 poked 4 holes last one had fish on the screen fished for 5 hours and caught 1 perch then went to linden marina for 2 hours and got skunked ice at jordanelle had 2 inches ice 3-4 inches soft stuff and a good 8 inches clear ice under that..... personal craft ramp ice 9 inches very deteriated... over by main boat launch 200 yards out 8 foot round hole where guy fell through.........

I was up at lindon too for a while in the afternoon around 2:30 to 4:30 also got skunked. Was trying for Large Mouth Bass.

Bottom line -- is it still safe to ice fish at Jordanelle or not? And if it is still safe where is the thickest ice?

soth of hailstone and east of pressure ridge off personall water craft ramp good 9 inches solid ice last maybe through the weekend

Thanks, I sure wish that I dared head to Jordanelle with my 8 year old grandson, because I know we could get into the perch, but I think to be on the safer side I better take him to Strawberry.
