pelican lake question???

hey has anyone been to pelican lake lately to see if the ice is off. i can't wait to get out there this year for some bluegill fishing. as hot as the weather has been you would think that the ice would be about off. any info would be appreciated thanks trfishin

I checked Pelican yesterday and the ice is not off yet. It's very close though. It should come off any day. It will go with the first good stiff breeze. Steinaker and Red Fleet will only be a few days behind. They are all very slushy with open water around the edges. I want to get the yak out so bad I can't stand it.
