I have been & keep hearing that the Amazon Facility that was built off of 400N & I-15 has had construction issues. The first issue I heard was the concrete floor had collapsed in a section of the building. More recent I heard that after construction finished, Amazon was trying to get some of their employees to relocate to work in new facility. This was the demise of opening Amazon along with getting right equipment after covid originally hit. Amazon spent a lot of money to build a large facility & abandon it, admittingly it looks impressive from outside. Next, the US Postal service was looking into moving in this building but ended up backing out, due to construction issues. Next, it was deemed that the facility was built on marsh land which is creating the flooding of the building and deterioration of the concrete floor. Now, the building is under consideration for demolition. I don't know if these are true facts, just word of mouth getting out and was wondering if any has heard anything along with what is stated here or anything different.

Apparently, Amazon has resolved issues with the new facility and is now showing signs of life in populating the facility. Does anyone know of anything different?

There has been a lot of activity in the parking lot this past 2mo. Appears to be charging stations in a large section installed.

Article in the Substandard Exaggerator said they plan to open it as a distribution center this year. Equipment supply issues are said to be the reason for the delay (but for almost five years?)
