Lindon 3-20
#1
hit the marina in the toon today, not a whole lot of success, manage 3 white bass on gitzits under a bobber. had 2 nice hits on 6" leech rigged drop shot, no hookup so don't have a clue to what they were. nice day though. seen another BFTer in a green aluminum Tracker. give me a shout back so I know who you are. see ya!!

I stopped by lindon after work and cast a few lures for about an hour from shore. The anglers going for white bass or eyes were all skunked (as was I), but those fishing for catfish were having some luck. One guy had two good sized channel cats and the mudcats were being caught by all who were trying for them. I talked with a couple of boaters coming in who all reported no luck for them. they were pursuing eyes and LMB.

Yep that was me... haha, I had problems with my hearing aids conking on and off, danged batteries were old, so I couldn't hear you too well when I spoke to you.

Caught 6-8 cats on one pole with worm/shrimp combo, and with the other pole for eyes, and LMB nothing!!! Sure glad I had the second pole permit to save myself some time and give me some adventure...

Went rock bar-hopping from Lindon to AF, then to Saratoga springs, not the harbor, but outside the pumphouse where there are warm springs. I caught cats everywhere at those locations but no eyes or LMB... Wondered where they went!

In all it was a long beautiful day under blue-bird sky with the stunning mountian vista with snow on it, so warm that air was 73 and the water a whopping 62 degrees, I know the bite should turn on totally once full moon hits.

hey did you see any signs of carp starting to spawn yet, any carp jumping? 63 degrees, wow it warmed up fast. looks like the date I set was right on. lets hope the carp get excited and come into shore soon.

I didn't see any slathering around on the rocks so I guess it's not time yet... BUT I saw carp jumping everywhere sporatically at different times of the day... I got spooked when one jumped and banged the side of my boat... never had one do that before!
