My Strawbale Garden for 2025
#1
I got my Strawbale Garden put in and going just after Mother's day , I love how the Veggies grow this way . Best part because of some back issues No Digging in the dirt and I built some 4x8 ft above the ground boxes 2ft high. Much easier to work with and at the end of the season I refill the boxes with the used Straw to make Compost for next year. I've been doing this for about 5 years , love it.

Nice setup Dan, I've been thinking about making my boxes a little deeper, for the same reason. How much water do you give them? I water mine twice a day for 10 minutes.

During the Bale Conditioning which is about 12 days , you water the bales until you get Saturation . After you put in your Plants then you only need to give each bale about a Gallon of water once or sometimes twice a day depending on the Tempurature . I would be glad to talk with you about it anytime.
