Took Shawn up on his invite to fish on his boat with my son and brother-in-law, what a great time and experience fishing with the expert. Started around 6:45 am by the light pole and finished with our limits of Walleye, 3 Wipers and a jumbo Pearch, at around 9:45 am. Trolled bottom bouncers with a variety of colors didn’t seems to make much difference. Couple poles off the side on boards and cranks, purple and perch color both caught about the same.
Goods times and lots of fun, I haven’t been very successful trying to fish Willard, I can say this should really improve my success, sure hope so. Thanks so much Shawn for your willingness to open up your boat, time and expertise.
