Smallmouth bass
#1
I'm looking for some smallmouth intel.
Where would you go between now and Sunday for smallies if your choices were:
Jordanelle
Rockport
Echo
East Canyon
Maybe Willard
And you were fishing from a boat.......

Just from what I've read from other members, Willard has a good population of decent sized SM, up to 3 lbs or maybe a little bigger. The state record was caught at Jordanelle, but that was many years ago, I think the average size is smaller there now. Rockport, Echo and EC all have decent number of SM but their size is smaller. Hopefully a bass guy will respond with some better info but if it were me I'd try Jordanelle or Willard, plus there are other fish in those lakes, like kokes or walleye in those locations, if you got tired of catching bass.

If I had to pick from your list, it would be Jordanelle. I've had better luck there than the others you have listed.

RP and Echo have both been kicking out smallies lately. To be frank any on your list should do well
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew

It depends on if you’re going for numbers or size. If you want numbers Jordanelle was insane the other day. We were catching them basically every cast but they were all fairly small. Deer creek has also been great! I would also say any on your list your going to catch them but my top picks would be…
1. Jordanelle 2. Echo 3. Rockport 4. Willard 5. East Canyon

Good luck!
