Fished here today and it was just as you’d expect. Planter Rainbows every cast. I neglected to peruse the stocking report and didn’t see they put 20k! In every year.  I’d say this lake needs some Tiger Muskies!

Thanks for the report.

It's a great place to take someone who is learning to fish.  It has a lot of open shore line and a lot of hungry fish.

Did you pick up any brookies?  

They have stocked around 500 brook trout every year since 2020 so there should be some decent brookies showing up.

Brookies probably can’t compete with that many rainbows. Sort of like the chubs at Scofield.

I have had a hard time finding them but last year I finally picked up a few.

According to what I read they put 40 rainbows in for every brookie. That’s almost comically inept! Who decides this stuff! If I was in charge I’d say 2000 of each and call it good. This is a small reservoir.
