Ira and I meet Alan at the South marina yesterday around 6:30 am. Water temps were 77 to 78 degrees for the morning. We headed over to the SW corner to check the progress on the work there and found the coffer dam is in the process of built, maybe Alan or Ira can give you a better estimation on how far they have it built out but my guess is 50 to 75 yds out into the bay. I took some pics but they was a little dark because the sun wasn't up yet. We started trolling cranks and worm harnesses from there, at 2 mph, heading East, water way pretty shallow around 7 to 8 ft but we ended up with one walleye and one wiper. Then we headed over to Freeway bay and continued to troll lures and worm harnesses at 2 mph, then switched over to fligging at .5 mph. We picky up 5 cats but overall it was a slow day. We did see one mini boil that lasted for a few minutes. Not a lot of folks out there yesterday but we did run into Forest(Tincan) as we were leaving. One thing I did not mention last week is that they have the cleaning closed already at the South end.
