Good catfish

Just wanted to share a picture of a nice cat caught by my daughter in law Saturday at UL. At 16 pounds and 31 inches it was her fist big cat and one of heaviest this year. The big ones are coming.

Thanks Richard, I had fun even though I never had a rod out. One of those special times when the fun is in watching others ketch 'em. Caught eight cats, all fat and sassy with big bellies. 

Only a couple of outfits in the parking lot but I never saw where they were fishing, a couple of bank tanglers in the channel, one power boat broke down in the parking lot. Just under four feet of water in the channel, green stuff was diluted and spread out over the lake. Cats were active and aggressive. Hope to get out Monday and give it another shot. The yoy wb in the channel are almost big enough to munch a small jig or maybe a fly. Should be good bait size in a couple or weeks. Good time ahead.

She looks happy! A lot happier than the cat Sorry I missed this post. It has been busy lately. Some of it has even been cat fishing. J,J and J have been out 3 times in the last 2 weeks. You can see our bump fish on the contest board. Haven't had time to write reports. The big ones are here though.
