Rockport Report
#1
Took the family up to Rockport Monday 09/29.  Weather was nice. Fished from shore on the west side.  Kids threw spinners and fly and a bubble.  Also used a cubby under an adjust-a-bubble tipped with worm.  Caught a number of 6-7" perch on all, and a 7" smallie that fought bigger than he was.  Youngest boy caught 2 footlong healthy planter rainbows.
Bit was pretty consistent until 2pm then just died off.  May have been the storm moving in.  Got out of there before it started to rain.
I was blown away at how low the water was!  We were there in August of last year in the same spot, and the water level is at least 30' lower than it was then.

Saw only one boat on the water wakeboarding. Fortunately for us they stayed close to the ramp area and didn't make waves by us! The wind that came through a couple of times muddied up the bank water pretty good, but the dust in the water settled down pretty soon after.
Only saw two other groups of bank tanglers that day, which was nice, too!
