I'VE ALWAYS HAD OK LUCK AT EAST CANYON AND LOST CREEK. LOST CREEK CAN GET CROWDED AROUND THE BOAT LAUNCH BUT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WALK A BIT YOU CAN GET AWAY FROM MOST PEOPLE. I'VE ALWAYS HAD GOOD LUCK USING A CLEAR BOBBER FILLED WITH WATER THEN ABOUT 16"AND SOME RAINBOW POWER BAIT.. GOOD LUCK..

Sounds like some good places to me, I am new here also. I think I will try lost creek again, over by the dam.

My vote goes for the Jordan river as the best, followed up by the probly lost creek, East canyon, pine view and willard.

In Cache Valley there is Newton, Hyrum, Wellsville ponds. The Logan and Blacksmith fork rivers can be good. There is Tony's Grove lake in Logan canyon. I usually fish Honeyville pond from the shore when it opens up in May for planter rainbows because it is close to home, but it gets mossy real soon and becomes a pain to fish later in the summer. It is mostly a "put and take" kids pond with planter rainbow and carp. I have had fun there with a bubble half filled with water and dragging a fly on about 4 to 5 feet of leader. Kaysville ponds should be good once they open it up to public fishing. Acey
