Jordan River Access

Can someone please advise me of how to get to the Jordan River near 30th or 33rd S. because i have read a lot of posts about guys having luck catching Cats on the Jordan and I am fairly new to the Utah area and don't know how to reach the Jordan. Thanks!!!

GO WEST ON 33RD SOUTH, WHEN YOU SEE THE JORDAN RIVER PARK WALKWAY ON EITHER SIDE OF YOU THERE IS A PARKING LOT...I THINK IT IS ABOUT 10TH WEST...IT IS BETWEEN 500 WEST AND 1300 WEST...SORRY I CANT GIVE YOU BETTER LOCATION, YOU JUST HAVE TO DRIVE WEST AND SEE IT, I KNOW ON 5300 SOUTH IT IS EASIER TO FIND, AND IT IS NEAR WILLOW POND IF THE RIVER BITE ISNT ON.

another area you can try is paul workman park its off 700 W. and about 2250 S. just look for the sign the river there is tree free along the bank fairly wide and about 5' deep

You can also accsess it from 9th west. there are several streets that go through the businesses
