I called Lucerne Valley Marina and talked to one of the gals in the office. She said there is some open water on Linwood Bay and that total ice off is expected within 10 days. I plan on being up there at ice off so I'll be calling them every couple days so I can hit it just right.

After seeing your reply, I just got off the phone with the marina and they said you can launch but there is still a lot of ice on the water. She said it would be tough to get up past swim beach and state line and getting across Linwood would be real iffy. One good wind storm would clear it off. Looks like next week is the time to hit ice off.
