Tues and wed I went up to Wyoming. Done some fishin! Got up to Kemmerer about 7am. Fished the Hams fork just below the city res I dont have tons of experience of the Hams but the water was a little high jus flooding the grass in the bank. But it was still runnin clear and calm. I fished about 4hr and only caught 1 small rainbow 12". So I ran up to Fontinelle and fished the Green. Talk about feedin a tic tac to a whale. Again I dont have any experience on the Green I felt a little overwelmed. and couldnt find a groove. I got skunked! Ok change of plan Again. I know I'll run up to Labarge creek. Hey third times a charm. This is a fun stream to fish! With a slight spring run off just right. Small enough to raise the water a bit and keep it clear. A smorgasbord of fish mabye 30 the first evening Brooks,Browns,Rainbows, And possilby cuts its a bit hard to tell because the raibows had alot of reb on the belly. I went back to the upper Green to camp for the night. Boy it really runnin high and muddy. Wed couldnt wait to get over to Labarge. And for good reason. What a day I fished up a little higher there was plenty of snow but it formed a 2 foot high ledge along the steam It was like two side walks running along the waters edge. As a result I got to use and abuse that steam. Fished about 2-3 miles. It wasnt as fast of fishin but an amazing time. I never seen a single soul. [cool]
