If I were you, I would buy a St. Croix or a Fenwick spinning rod, with Shimano's Stradic.
If there's money left from your gift certificate, then buy a whole bunch of Lindy spinners crawler harnesses of various colors and size, (Lindy's Exchange Spinners are interchangeable from colors to size on the same harness) Then buy a whole bunch of Lindy's bottom bouncers in different weights (they are short and stubby for those bottom hugging 'eyes) Then buy a whole bunch of regular bottom bouncers in various weight) It helps to have five of each weight in case you lose 'em.
Got money left? Jet divers are a good one to help keep your lure in the strike zone without the help of a downrigger. So buy one in 10 feet, 20 feet and 30 feet in different colors. This you get from Cabela's
If there's money left, then go for those minnow-imitating crankbaits from Storm, Smithwicks, (a personal favorite especially the suspending super rogue) Reef Runners, (this you gotta order from Cabela's) Bomber B24A long-A, and Hot-n-tots (they are short, stubby and they drive walleyes nuts). Try to have some purple crankbaits, for they are highly underrated.
Have fun shopping, of course it's all walleye equipment and a lot of fun too!
Oh and get a walleye sticker for your boat too so we know you're hard-core eyesman![cool]
