That is a big fish especially at 26lb 15oz. That would make a good wall piece. All you would need is a wall sturdy enough to hang it on.

From the looks of things, he obviously kept the fish. That's great when you can do that and mount it on your own wall. In Cali, you get to weight it, take your picture with it and turn it over to the state for their examination. That kills the fish and disqualifies it for a record catch and release.

SO in Cali you cant keep big fish you have turn them over to the state? What are they testing the fish for?

Evan more amazingly, he caught it on a fly. It shattered all of the IGFA fly rod records and is just a few ounces shy of the world record.
