Does my pontoon still float?

I'm trying to figure out if my pontoon still floats. Does anyone know if any of our northern lakes have open water in them where I can check my boat out? I'm ready to get out there and get my fly line wet.

To find out if your pontoon doesn't have any holes and still floats is to take it out and fish your brains out, if you are still floating by the 5th hour, then it works, if not then you will know it. LMAO.

Go to Utah Lake, Yuba, Willard, Deer Creek just about any of the lower to mid elevation lakes will be open water. Have fun and bring back report if it still floats... cuz

Even better does it still hold air? Fill the bladders up and if it still holds air after a couple hours then it will float.

I went past Jordanelle on my way to the Berry today and seen lots of open water by Hailstone . Just watch out for the ice floating around but should be good for trout . I already been in my tube at Utah lake last week and it still leaks some but I am still be using it .

Lot more ice that way , but could be open by the river inlet . From US40 it looked all frozen up still .

Thanks all you guys! I can always count on the BFT crew to have the answers. I'd heard that Jordanelle was nearly clear, and that Rockport has open water. I'm going up to Idaho next weekend and thought maybe I'd run over to Clear Lake for few hours, just to keep my right arm's muscles from deteriorating completely from lack of use.

If anyone has ventured out on any of our trout fisheries that have liquid water instead of the frozen kind, I'd love to hear about it.
