It has some open water but some ice floating around . Rock cliff arm looks still frozen from US 40 drive by today . Main boat ramp still iced in but the PWC ramp was ice free today . Shouldn't be much longer .

[#800080]Two weeks before ramps should be open. Deer Creek starts before Jordanelle by a month. We were going to hit Deer Creek today but with the cold snap Lincoln Beach was the best that could be done. May 1st might the best bet for Lake X. [/#800080]
[#800080] Next weekend will be either Deer Creek or Quail Creek depending on the weather.[/#800080]
[#800080] Btw, we been pitching jig-n-pigs and spinnerbaits at Utah Lake for three weeks. [/#800080]

I fished there for about an hour and a half today.
Everything is open south of the main marina. Even the Rock Cliff Arm appeared to be open. The main marina should open up with this next warm spell next week. There were 5 boats that I could see on the water that had launched from the PWC marina. I saw most of them boating trout while trolling.
I guess the fish are farther out from shore. I didn't want to bother with the tube, so I just stayed on dry land. In the time I was there I got two good hits, but missed them both.
