Rockport & Jordanelle

I am wondering if any body knows the conditions at Rockport or Jordanelle. I want to do a little fishing this weekend, and need to know if there is open water off the shore?

Jordandelle is about 80% open water. Get the float tube out it's time to fish.

Is the Hailstone side open by the main marina?

That is the one area that the ice is still floating. However, with the warm temps today, tomorrow and Wed it should be gone. A good wind would tear it off in a day.

Both bays just north of the main marina are all ice free. I don't think you could launch a boat till thursday or Friday.

I would prefer to hit Rockport as the there is no fee. Do you know what it is like?

As of last Friday the ice was breaking up and there was about 40% open water. I would assume it will be 100 percent ice free by the weekend if it is not already.
