Yankee Meadow

100% open water at Yankee. Road is a bit muddy, but 4x4 isn't needed to get in. Fishing was a little slow, but still produced some nice brook trout. Cutts, and Bows should be catchable also.

Paragonah shouldn't be far behind...

thanks, figured with all that rain, ohh the mud . .

everybody should go up there once it is sooooooooooo beautiful . . fishins' usually pretty good too . . are the bathrooms still boarded up? Learned the hard way taking a girl up there, she catches a 3 pound rainbow 5 minutes after we got there, then the bathrooms were boarded up, and me without my luggable loo ! WHERE IS YANKEE AND HOW DOES ONE GET THERE PLEASE? IT LOOKS LIKE A GREAT LAKE TO TAKE THE FAMILY TO OVER A WEEKEND...I HAVE 4X4 AND THE MUD MIGHT MAKE IT FUN I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO TRY IT OUT...I GOT MY JEEP IN JANUARY.....SO DIRECTIONS PLEASE. THANKS.
