I just have a question... Last year was my first time fishing Utah Lake for cats. I was just wondering how exactly to get there. I remember heading towards (something) springs, but cant quite remember the name. Then we parked in a designated parking lot next to a field and had to walk along this dirt trail. I hope someone can help me here, kinda tough explaining it. Thanks again.

Ha ha... I know exactly what you are talking about. It is Saratoga Springs, You go down redwood road... and then go to 6800 south (I think) and the parking lot is right there, and then you cross the Jordan River bridge to the pumphouse, and walk along the trail and then you are there!
Hope this confirms things.

Check the Utah Fishing holes board and there are instructions to the Lincoln Beach area of Utah Lake. It's on the South side of the lake.

Cats have been active for several weeks now, and should only be getting better with warmer weather in the next few weeks. Other years past April has been the best month for them for me. The nice thing is that you can catch them anywhere on the entire lake that you can get shoreline access. Don't fish out in the middle or you'll never catch anything.
