ok guy's huntington is open water.. well some of it at lest!! went up there today.. got there about 10:30 and fished tell about 2:00 got 3 nice fat fish and missed about 20 fish.. they were not bitting very hard today at all.. was fishing with minnows and worms got 2 on the minniows 1 on worm..

Excellent! How is the snow on the south facing slope of the reservoir? Just wondering if we could use our makeshift launch ramp to launch a small boat? Thanks for the report.

the snow is only 3" to 6" deep and fadeing fast.. but the mud is deep and might make it hard to get your boat back up the hill..

before you think about takeing a boat up you might want the ice to get off the lake first.. when we got there this morning there was only a 20'area around where the river runs in to the lake to fish in.. the rest was iced up..looks like the lake is freezing back up at night..about 30'to 50' from shour opened up along the east shour later in the day but will peobly freeze again tonight..
