Hey Tin,
It was a private boat and my friend. K2 had to go to school. He hates it when I do that. Badfish, Yeah, it's Bullock. It's not the hot water it may appear. It's only 100 acres and very tough to launch anything but a tiny boat. There is also a very small window in the spring when the smallies get stupid. The rest of the year they are very tough to find. BTW there were 20 inch tigers coming out last fall. Good Fishing, Kayote [signature]

[pirate]Since I've spent a few days (I mean evenings from around 6:00 until about 9:00) over there the last couple of weeks, I am eating as I'm typing. That is a good looking Smallie! Not too many that size in the Bull. I didn't even know there were Largemouth in there. We have picked up enough trout for dinner, but nothing else. CW seems dead. I wonder what is left from last year and if it has been planted.
I just got the boat registered and have a little work left on it. Mindsoup is dead set on catching Smallies, Walleye, and a Muskie this year. I just hope I can put her on them so she can. I'm not too worried about Smallies and Walleye, but since I haven't caught a "ski" myself, I don't know if I know how to put her on to one of them or not. I just figure enough time on the pond and we have to get lucky sooner or later. With any luck, we'll be over there tonight. I talked to her brother in Brigham City last night and he told me he caught two 12" muskie at Newton from the dam last weekend on a minnow shaped jig (the colors he described sound like clown) while he was looking for Bass. Curtisfish,
Cottonwood hasn't been planted for over two years now and is being drained each fall. The water users are installing a pipe outlet and are still not done. They are dragging their feet about it. Can you blame them?. They get to take the conservation pool each fall because it won't be restocked till they finish the work. Very frustrating. It will get smallies and tigers whenever the irrigation company gets it together. I love cottonwood. It kicks out five pound smallies when it's working. Not to mention all those four pound largemouth. Good Fishing, Kayote [signature]

Thanks for the info on Cottonwood. I did go over last night, but it was later than I wanted and I found out my battery had died over the winter. It lasted 4 years on that ancient motor so I'm not too upset. I charged it after my last trip last season, and had it off the concrete, so it was just it's time. Mindsoup and I just used the 6h.p. to puddle around and caught a few nice Rainbows. We stayed later than we should have considering I don't have lights on my boat. There was another boat trolling the water when we arrived and they were doing OK from what I saw and heard. We got there a little late for Bass and didn't have the battery for the electric. Who out here sells AC Delco? Maybe I should just get a yak....[
