Scofield Report 5/11

[cool]Aquaman and I braved the chilly conditions (make that-hellacious winds, and blowing snow[pirate]) today to do a little shore fishin' at Scofield. We got there about 9:15 or so and started chuckin' lures near the shacks just past the dam. Had a great time dispite the weather and the slow fishin'. I was havin' success on gold Jakes spin a lures, and Aqua caught his on panther martin spinners, but had a couple of others get off right towards the shore while fishin rapalas, etc. I tried the usual baits for a while after it slowed down, but to no avail.

jeff is a generous host not to say he out fished me 3 to 1 he caught the FATTEST rainbow i have ever seen

so what did you find when you cleaned it ?

[cool]I found the most eggs I've ever seen in a 15 inch fish[shocked]! Also, a couple of minnows in her belly and a piece of crawdad I think. It was pretty digested. Yep, she was a fattie, alright! In the Cut, same thing except for eggs.
