Took the float tube up to Rock cliffs today. Got on the water about 10:00. Shortly thereafter, the wind hit. [
] I fished for a couple of hours, but only had a few hits on small tube jigs. (suspect perch) Also tried grubs, spinners, and a rapala. Finally wearied of getting blown away by the wind and quit. I then fished the Provo above the inlet since I wasn't ready to go home yet. The fish there were much more obliging on small spinners. I didn't have my fly equipment with me, but a fellow angler was also having luck on nymphs. The water was fairly high, but quite clear and fishable.
