Skull Valley 5-22
#1
I had to go out and visit my grandpa last saturday. I had maybe 10 minutes to fish, because I went for a nice long hike for the first time this year. It killed me. 10 miles through rough country isn't easy. I did find 1 shed that was VERY interesting, though. I figured it was 4 years old, and about 32" wide, with 5 or 6 points(Can't remember right off the top of the noggin.) It is definatly a shed off of the buck I was chasing last year. One heck of a deer. I'll post a pic when I get home. I also saw about 30 does and fawns, and 1 I'm sure was a buck. Oh yeah! Another 25 chuckars, too.

Anyway, on to the bass pond. I tried Rock Bottom. There were quite a few fish cruising, but I couldn't get a one of them. Mighta been the wrong kind of bait(I tried those new berkly gulp baits.) or something else. I'm not sure. Oh well. No bass dinners for me.

Sorry its taken so long to get back. Schools been heck this week. Anyway, most of the ponds out there hold bass. The pond by the freeway dosn't hold many for some reason. Rock bottom is a little to the south of Horse Shoe. If you go looking for it, its down the hill to the west from Skull Valley road. The other ponds out there havn't been worth a crap for a few years now.

BTW, my computers finally busted. Can't load any pics for the time being. So my pic of Mr. Big will have to wait[Sad]
