I am taking a group of scouts up to the round lake/fish lake area this weekend. Has anyone been up there this yet this year that can give me some fishing report and trail report? Is there still snow on the trail by this time of year or is it clear. Any input would be appreciated. Chicken.

I was up at smith & Morehouse last week, there looked to be a little snow up around 10,000 ft. and it snowed 2-3 inches on us one day but it melted the next day, that was around 8,000 ft. Just a word of caution with the scouts, a couple of kids in my group thought it would be fun to go "Hunting" and they poached a baby snowshoe hare[mad] I think it pissed me off more that the leaders didn't really care. Anyway please try and watch them as best you can and don't let them kill anything thats illegal and immoral to do so.
