Free Fishing day Report

Took my two boys (Ages 7 and 5) up to a secret spot that has always produced fish. They tend to be impatient so the action needed to be quick. Well the fish didn't disappoint. The brookies and rainbows where very eager to swallow our bait. My 7 year old had on that must of gone 13 inches (a monster for this area) and it jumped from the water. It both scared and excited him so much he lost the fish, but he didn't care he was having fun. My 5 year old caught his first fish (on his own) a nice 10 inch Brookie that was good eating. The best part came when they both gave me a big hug and said thanks for the great time. The only part that ruined the day was when a cop pulled me over and cited me for going 45 in a 40. Bummer, I am going to try and fight the ticket. But nonetheless, it was a great day. I am heading to the Ogden tomorrow morning to tackle some of the browns. So where are they giving tickets for 5 mph over the speed limit? I should probably be aware of that spot.
