Put in at the north marina around 6:30 pm. Fished along the north dike for a while with no success. Headed over to the south end and for the first time in four years, Lise caught her first wiper around 7:30 PM. That my friends is what makes life so wonderful. Did she stop there? No sir, she caught two more in the next hour! I finally managed to catch the smallest one before the wind picked up and we headed in around 8:45.

We used a blue & silver rattle trap, a shad rap and a black & silver medium diver. Trolled at 3 mph in 11-13 feet of water. Most hits were on the planer boards.

Great , nice fish, beautiful boat......you got it all! Congrats on the wipers. Is the launching out of the north marina still pretty safe? Haven't been up this year, and I am a bit nervous about the low water. Fishing out of a Lund proV 1900, just don't want to ding a prop or munch a motor foot. Nails

Launching is ok but don't go toward the docks on the south end of the marina. A rock pile is sticking up. When you leave the marina, go well past the bouys before turning south. A very shallow spot is developing two hundred yards out.
