Finally! We're on the down hill slide and ICE FISHIN' is a comin! I just might have to run out and pick up a new power auger and fish finder just to celebrate! Oh wait, never mind, I think I already did that. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! [laugh]

I know what you mean. I was talking about ice fishing yesterday with some friends and my heart skipped a beat. Kind of strange to be getting excited about ice fishing when the heat of summer hasn't really hit yet.[crazy]

I was thinking about icefishing yesterday as well. I even purchased yet another article of warm gear!. You sure DO get some strange looks from people who see you purchasing something to keep you warm when it's 90 degrees outdoors!.

I feel the same way, but will wet my appetite with feathers and fur before the hard water season.
I too gave my self a new fishfinder for my birthday, along with afew hunting toys and alittle ammo! Now I need that new auto loader, Benelli black eagle in camo, I wish!!!!
I can't wait for the Dove opener as a warm up for waterfowl, deer and elk, then some of the easiest fishing of the year! Bring it on, I love cold weather!

Yeppers, I must say I do enjoy the big freeze and standing on the hard deck.
LOL MeMeMe, I know what ya mean. But hey, the best buys for hard toppin' are found during the Summer months, right? What did ya get ya?
Anyways, being its my big 50 birthday today,, me thinks I might have to do a little late night kittie cat fishing!

Happy birthday!
I was thinking about ice fishing yesterday, as I was contemplating how best to deal with jet skis. Then i remembered how peaceful it was out there on the ice. It warmed my heart.

[cool][blue]Happy B-day Don. Now you are five times better than a 10. At least that's what got me through when I crashed that barrier.[/blue]
[#0000ff]Ice fishing already? Next you're gonna be floating the Coldfooter Hilton out on that tandem tube rig. That would be a sight.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]A word of advice. Stick to one candle on the cake. When you get up in our bracket, the correct count of candles on a birthday cake is enough to set off the smoke detector and get the fire trucks showing up.[/#0000ff]
