Well I had to change the brakes in my wife's blazer on Sat., so I didn't have much time after, but I grabbed my little sister and headed out to the bubble up at about 4:30pm. We walked out on the pipe, threw out a worm on the bottom with no weight. after 10 minutes and no bites I decided to pull mine up and cast to the other side of the pipe. Shanna decided to do the same, only when she lifted hers it took off. So she set the hook and brought in a beautiful 14 inch channel cat. I've never seen one with so many spots, it really was cool looking. While we were taking a picture my pole started bouncing so I grabbed it and landed a 12 inch mudder. While I was taking off the hook, she had recasted out with another worm, and WHAM! She had another hit! This one started taking out line! Luckily I had checked her pole and noticed that her drag was set WAAAYYY too tight or she woulda lost it. She brought it in - a 3 lb. 20 inch Channel cat. She was thrilled cause it was the biggest fish she had ever caught. While taking a picture, I had another mudder hit my line. It was nonstop for the entire half hour we were there, then I had to leave. I ended up with 4 mudders and her the two channels. It was a great compact trip.

Yes it's about 1/4 mile south of the lindon boat harbor, just walk down the south dike that borders the farthest south cooling pond. It says No Trespassing but don't worry about that it more refers to the cooling pond itself and the equipment there. I've been going there since I was 10 years old and have never had a problem. When you get out between the pond and the lake, you have to bushwack through about 30 feet of 8 foot tall weeds then you're there.

No it's not high, it's really low. Not quite as low as last year though. The pipe is out of the water for about 100 yards out into the water. We walked out on it as far as we could until it went underwater and fished right there.
I also used to fish there right off the shore -- even before they put the pipe in. Before, the water used to just come out right from the dike. The walleye, white bass and other species fishing there was much better then.
Those good ol days are gone now though. Where you used to fish off the shore now has 8 foot high weeds growing in it and the water is just mud for the first 100 feet or so.
