New Catfish Bait

My brother sent this to me . . .

[size 2]This was a pretty interesting story from The Sunday Wichita Eagle[/size]
[size 2]Newspaper a couple of weeks ago. Was in a housing development around[/size]
[size 2]119th st.[/size]
[size 2]South and Maple.[/size]

[size 2]Anyhow a resident in the area saw a ball bouncing around in the development's pond and when he went to investigate, it was a [/size][size 2]flathead catfish who had obviously tried to swallow a child's[/size] [size 2]basketball which became stuck in its mouth.[/size]

[size 2]The fish was totally exhausted from trying to dive but unable to because[/size] [size 2]the ball would always bring him back up to the surface. The resident[/size] [size 2]tried numerous times to get the ball out but was unsuccessful. He[/size] [size 2]finally had his wife cut the ball in order to deflate the ball and[/size] [size 2]release the catfish. [/size]
