Me and my bro fished trial lake on sunday and monday did pretty good with a couple splitshot 6 inches above a 1/4 piece of nightcrawler caught mostly rainbows and a few brookies and one albino. The shore fishers sounded like they were doing pretty good too, most of them looked like they were using bobbers.

I was at Trial on Saturday. Took my pontoon with the electric trolling motor and trolled for the 'bows. Caught 8 in about 4 hours. I had hits on nearly every lure I tried, but a the smallest rapalas I had worked the best. They were slammin' the minnow baits. On the down side minnow baits have two treble hooks on them, and a squirming trout can bury the other hook into your hand while you're trying to unhook him. It wasn't the first time I had to perform "surgery" on myself, and it probably won't be the last. The weather sure was nice while I was up there. Sunny, with a slight breeze, probably about 60 F or so.
