Fish Lake & Pineview report.
#1
Well got down to fishlake on friday afternoon and started out fishing for some perch at the weedline,Got are bait in about 20 minutes,Got the white jigs on and headed for the north end,Started to mark fish in 50 to 70Ft of water and put down the jigs,Didn't take long and started getting bites and my wife nephew hooked up with his first ever splake,The kid had the touch and was up 7 fish before anyone else caught any, then my father-in-law started hooking up,I was getting plenty of hits but couldn't hook'em,They caught probably 20fish before I pulled up a fish.ended at around nine and between the three of use there was about 40 fish caught between 3:00PM to 9:00PM.all where splake except 1 PUP lake trout that was 24 1/4" that my wifes nephew caught.

Saturday we got there early and the kid was on the fish again, around 9:00am he hooked another pup that was 25 3/4".I thought it was bigger the way it took line,we had alot of fun till about 11:00AM and they stoped biting,so we went to Bowery Haven Marina for some breakfast, got back on the water around 12:30 and the fish still had lock jaw,we moved around alot and picked up a fish, every once in awhile.moved back over to are spot around 3:45PM and started getting hits again.Picked up about ten more fish until 6:00PM and a lightning storm pushed use off the lake.caught about 30 fish, not as good as friday afternoon but still fun.

Sunday was really slow with only 10 fish caught between three of use,I moved around alot, marked alot of fish but they wouldn't bite.We caught most of are fish on the north end,The spot is striaght out from a stop sign on the shore its east of the bathrooms on the noth shore.that was my land mark and you guys should be able to find it.look around in 50 ft of water and move out until you start seeing the fish on the bottom. They where stacked up in there really good on friday but where harder to find as the weekend went on.

I will post the pics of the mac's when I get home tonight.

Hit Pineview yesterday for a company party and was pulling around wakeboarders and water skiers most the afternoon, hoping for a big muskie but I guess they dont like the bait I was dragging around,HEHEHE.

Took off from the party around seven and let the kids fish for perch, only problem was the perch fishing turned into a smallie fishing,Them kids caught about 30 smallies before it was to dark to see.saw a few boats trolling the muskies but didn't see any of them hook up.

Thanks for the report fishinfool! That's the kind of Fish Lake report I'm used to hearing. It's good to know that there are still fish in there and 30, 40, or 50 fish days are still possible. I still haven't been able to get my girlfriend down there to show her how nice and fun that place is. She has been to Moon Lake plenty, so I have been telling her "It's just as pretty, and has bigger fish!". She is getting pretty exited about a trip. I hope I can get her down there soon.
