Anyone know how far the gorge is from jordanelle?

I was wondering what the driving time was to the gorge.I am an hour from jordanelle and i think i have to go that way to get to the gorge.I am thinking about taking a wekend up there this fall.

It is about 3.5 hours from Salt Lake . I think going thru Vernal is about 240 miles to the dam from Salt Lake , but the lake has about 300 miles of shore line .

I would think it would be much faster to take I-80 to Fort Bridger and then to Lucerne than going through Vernal. I've tried both routes from Salt Lake. We used to get from Salt Lake to the Sheep Creek ramp in less than 3 hours, but only when my wife drove. I've taken a nap before when she drove and awoke to the cruise control set at 100 mph. LOL.

I just went this past weekend. I doubled towed my camper trailer and boat, never broke 55 MPH and I made it to Lucerne in 3 1/2 hours from Layton. If you aren't towing you could make it in 3.

From Orem to I-80 and to Manila is about 195 miles. I sorta poke my way up and it usually takes me 3 1/2 - 4 hours depending how many pit stops I take.
