Willard Bay Wipers
#1
Went out last weekend.. Spent saturday at south beach with the kids.. Got bored of just sitting there.. So I was casting a small green curly-tail jig just off shore.. Spent a few hours catching over 100 wipers 8-10 inch range.. Spent sunday and monday fishing out of my boat trolling about 3 mph.. Caught 4 3-5lb wipers sunday and 4 2.5-4lb wipers monday.. Not alot of action but fun anyway.. I have pics will try to upload them soon

I caught the small Wipers at the south beach.. It is in the southwest corner of the bay.. I was out on the bay this weekend only caught one.. Day was shorten by friends who kept complaining they needed to get home by 5:00.. Too bad that is when the fish realy come on.. So I had to leave sucks though I had to work the night before so I had been up 24hrs and wanted to catch a few big ones insted of sleeping..[unsure]

I hope you catch a bunch but leave some for me..[Wink] I go there during mid day when the big ones stop biting..

Good luck..

cool thanks for the info. i was just wondering where they had dumped the platner wipers. after talking to a few people it looks like they used both marinas.
