anybody down south?

Hey I am heading down to pine valley tonight and will be in southern utah monday and tues. and am looking to do some fishing. Does anyone know what lakes are hot right now (ie. qual, gunlock, etc)? also if anyone is interested in going pm me and I will check my mail tonight when I get there or if I can I will check before I leave and give you a call before I leave,

I am in the mood to fish for bass, but any species will do. If you wouldn't mind sharing what is working well, I would greatly appreciate it.

Especially if the weather is slightly overcast, try Pine Valley reservoir. It doesn't look like much but you can do really well with a fly and bubble in the late afternoon and evening. Besides the put-and-take planters, there are a few browns and brookies that show up and go to 13-14 inches. Mosquitoes and adams were my favorite flies. A nice escape from the heat when I lived down there. Gunlock might be good but the bigger bass might be deeper right now. Usual largie techniques work there and it is just a short drive away.
