[#ff0000]Good to see your post. I just found out today that I am hiking a scout group into the Mirror Lake area for a week and thought I’d get on and see what was going on in that neighborhood. What were you using and what were you catching? [/#ff0000]

Lots of people, it was all that I could do to find a parking place at the trail head. With all of the Uintah lake reports that I read, it is no wonder that more people are up there.

Hwy 150 is sure a bussy place i like to hit other parts of the uintas that are not as EZ to get to. One trip we took a few years back gave me some of the best fishing i have ever had. In about 2-3 hours of fishing around 1\2 of this small lake i caught and let go over 30 fish. My dad using a fly got about 22-30. We did not see anyone till we picked up to move to a lower lake on thursday. I love the UINTAS hope to get back there this weekend. for some more fish and to hit a lake i have never been two. 2,000 lakes and i have been to 22 so i only have 1,978 more to go but not all of them have fish so i guess it is only 1,002 more lakes to hit.

I am packing into N Erickson friday through sunday. Have you fished these lakes? How was it? In a book that I have it says to try a pink freshwater shrimp imitation, any idea what this is?

I have fished a Erickson lake don't know if it is the one you are heading to or if it is close to it. What drainage is it in?

I belive that it is on the Provo drainage. To get there you park at the top of Upper setting road, then hike a couple of miles. I understand that there is two lake North and South Erickson. If this is the area that you have been to, my real question is how big is the creek there? Big enough that I should take a fly pole along with a spinning rod for the lakes?
