hey guy's went over to Joe's valley yesterday..me and my boy got there around 10:30 fished tell about 1:00 cought 2 splake.. still kind of slow there right now.. so my boy asked if we could go to E-lake? i said sure so we headed over to the Dam side of E-lake.. when we got there i had to try my luck with my new cast net i got for my B-day.. got 2 fish with the first throw.. then all i had to do was any time we needed bait just throw it on a school of minnows and i would get 2 or 3 minnows each time.. so my boy put a minnow on his hook and casts out before he can put his pole down he looks at me and says he has one!.. i'm like no way!.. then i see him jerk it and a nice 2 1/2 lbs rainbow come right out of the water 20 feet out.. what a sweet sight see that fish do a brack dance out there.. but he did not get that one all the way in before it spit the hook... he cought 6 more fish in about 1 hr to his dad's big 0 .. he thought that was cool.. but i was trying to get the hang of the cast net and keep him in bait as well.. well all in all had a great B-day with my boy and some nice fishing to boot.. by the way i aced him at joe's vally 2 to 0..
as i went by huntington i could see that it's up about 8 feet from the other day..it's only about 5 feet under the low water from last year and looked to be about 15 feet from being full.. Sweet!! cleveland is up as well! it up to about 20 feet under full and is looking good..
looks like most the lakes up there are doing alot better this year than last..
