Is it possible to catch Kokanee from a tube this time of year at the Berry? If so where and what would be the lure/fly/bait of choice? Thanks

They should be staging for the spawn and can be hooked by the inlets . Look for them in deep holes left by the flooded streams channels or sometimes you will see them by the dam or other places close to shore where they have been planted . I jig aggressively with bright colors . Cloudy rainy days can be best , but they can be had . Try chartreuse and hot pink in flies or jigs . Strip fast and pause and it should get there attention . Sometimes it is not fast fishing but it will work . I mainly use jigs but my biggest one was caught on a fly .
