Mantua question

Has anyone be up to Mantua lately? I would like to hit it sometime this weekend.

Went up two weekends ago and did really well using a plastic curly tail fished like a fly and bubble. Anchored the boat next to a deep hole and fished in the hole. My Dad caught one that weighed one pund even.

Thanks snkunz, there are some good size fish in there. We usually do the same thing and you can sit there and fish all day in that spot.

How were the weeds and the water level. The last time I was there this summer I had a hard time getting the boat through the weed beds. Is is still really thick? I am trying to decide if it is worth going back one more try for the bluegill, or him waters that aren't as weedy. Acey
