What kind of fish are you trying to catch? There's a few guys on the site that fish Pineview for smallmouth, I'm sure they could help you if that is what you are after.

Bass preferably largemouth which i know pineview has none as well as panfish my friend wont float pineview with me though he is scared of being bit by a tiger i think he's taking that a little out of proportion uhh sizable perch arent a problem either

Pineview does have LMB in it. Not near as many as the smallies, but they are there.

For panfish, use small jigs, sweetened with a little worm. They have been hard to find at pineview the last couple of years, but with the high water levels this year, I think we'll see a nice perch/crappie recovery over the next 1-3 years.

I've never fished bountiful pond...sorry.

You can also catch smallmouth along any rocky shoreline, use spinners or small lures. I use spinners like rooster tails or Rapalas that are several inches long. A perch pattern will work for both the spinner and lure. I've caught smallmouth in the narrows and around cemetery point. Hope this helps. WH2
